Every time I start Thunderbird, a new folder is created each time (always the same name) in my local folders area and I cannot find how to remove this. The colder is named:

1376842793.33723.YahooMailNeo%40web171205.mail.ir2.yahoo.com.wdseml

I have removed my Yahoo account completely and I have disabled any add on associated with Yahoo. I have tried safe mode start and started disabling all add ons and the thing still creates.

Any ideas? it is driving me nuts.

Kirk

Chosen solution

Help menu {ALT+H} > troubleshooting information Select the show folder button

Warning: Close Thunderbird

In the explorer window Open the Mail folder Open the "Local Folders" folder Delete the file 1376842793.33723.YahooMailNeo%40web171205.mail.ir2.yahoo.com.wdseml

Restart Thunderbird.

You may have to drill down further into local folders, until you in the right sub folder. I assume that your issue is in the root local folders list of folders.
