Hi, you are wasting a lot of time here. If you have a problem this - as you have been told, is the place to come for help.
If 'Ask' is being installed on your machines, it isn't the fault of Mozilla (or Firefox). It usually occurs when another program has been downloaded without unticking/unchecking boxes that install it. So more care is needed in that regard.
This article will help you to remove it - Remove Ask Toolbar and Ask.com Search (Uninstall Guide) by Malware Tips.
You may then need to run SearchReset as well.
Finally, it is essential to always download Firefox from mozilla.org since other download sites sometimes have a version that is bundled with unwanted junk.

How would you expect "firefox" to be able to use a phone? Impossible to hold a phone without possessing thumbs. Yeah, duct tape might work, but "firefox" would need thumbs to duct tape the phone to his / her paw. Then there's the issue of dialing .....

There is no tech support phone number for Firefox. This site is your best resource for free help, or of course you can find unrelated support companies eager to help you for a fee.

When you say "slow to respond" do you mean there is a delay when you click a link or bookmark before Firefox does anything, or pages start loading but take a very long time to load, or something else. If you can be more specific, it may help call to mind a solution.
Meanwhile, please see the articles I linked to earlier for general suggestions.

On the first point, it sounds as though Firefox "paints" the page slowly. Does this happen always or does it tend to happen more when memory is nearly full? Firefox tends to slow down dramatically when memory is nearly full.
Blocked Graphics Drivers
According to your earlier-posted Firefox system information, Firefox cannot work with your current graphics card driver software; this older version is on the block list. You can check for updates with your computer mfr or Intel. This article has additional suggestions: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL.
Recent Display Changes
You can try disabling these in case they are making your Firefox slow:
(Warp GL - Firefox 37+)
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste layers and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the layers.d3d11.disable-warp preference to switch it from false to true
(OMTC - Firefox 33+)
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste layers and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled preference to switch it from true to false
Note: I read in a bug report that this change causes problems with the HTML5 player on YouTube, if hardware acceleration is disabled, so you might also need to force Flash on YouTube if you keep this setting. You can use an add-on for that: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/youtube-flash-video-player/

Hi pushpikasj, I don't know what could cause an unresponsive script error on the new tab page. Perhaps a Firefox program file was damaged? During your troubleshooting, have you tried this:
Clean Reinstall
We use this name, but it's not about removing your settings, it's about making sure the program files are clean (no inconsistent, corrupted, or alien code files). As described below, this process does not disturb your existing settings. Do NOT uninstall Firefox, that's not needed.
(1) Download a fresh installer for Firefox 38.0.5 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(2) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable).
(3) Rename the program folder, either:
(64-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox
(32-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
(4) Run the installer you downloaded in #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
Can you get Firefox reinstalled?
Note: Some plugins may exist only in that OldFirefox folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:
- \OldFirefox\Plugins
- \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
