As a fan of using Mozilla Thunderbird unfortunately I must see daily more and more problems with the download of my emails for example via the www.1und1.de server in order to receive my ....@online.de email. Testing with several settings - change the password, or the settings like SSL/TSL, STARTTLS, in the latter version the Ant-Virus refuses any download. With SSL/TLS the access to 1und1.de webmail account does not work any longer. Furthermore I contacted 1und1.de if the line has a problem, I could easily write and send email within the 1und1.de system to my own account. Thunderbird does not deliver incoming email by opening the account and request for an update. The person on the telephone there said that Firefox-Browser and Thunderbird are reported to have this problem for a couple of days already.
