I am able to login to my BBVA Compass Bank Account, but I cannot display any information about my account. I contacted BBVA Compass Bank for support and they indicated several other people had complained about the same problem. Please help.

I am using the most recent version of Firefox version 60.0.1 (64-bit) .

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

  • make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

You see the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
  • check the Web Console for more detail about what content is blocked by Tracking Protection
  • "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer

So did you try what cor-el suggested ?

I will try again on Tuesday when I can be sure that I will have support from BBVA Compass.

Ok I tried what cor-el suggested and temporarily disabled ublock origin and ghostery. That worked. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if I am qualified to post this link, but maybe Firefox and possibly BBVA were trying to help me by preventing my session from being hijacked. Oh well here's the link:

Hi, yes is fine to post links to question or solution related information. The Register is a good place, browse it daily. Article is from 17 Oct 2017 so I would think someone had to make changes as Nov 14th version 57 came out and all things that Extensions could do in the past where changed.

I would think cor-el wanted it turned off to see if it was interfering with your login by blocking the banks reply or window. Which Seemed to be the issue as per previous message. Great, hope no problems now.

Yes, the suggestion from cor-el to

"click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection"

Worked

Since I also had ghostery installed I had to click on the ghost icon and temporarily pause protection.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
