Is there an addon or something to backup the entire firefox (not the version, but the rest of it)?

Sometimes someone has to reinstall the OS and has to put in all again like addons, bookmarks, history, settings, themes, etc. It would be nice if it would be possible to back it up ad a different storage like an externel Hard Disk. Though it would be nice if all the addons, bookmarks, history, settings, themes, etc would be download (and stored ad a different place, so no download will be needed and no looking for the things someone already had installed. So, when new installation is needed, only a map has to been point out and the installationprogram installes all of it. It would be nice if the backup and downloades (for the things I mentioned) could be specified ad settings. And a timed backup would be nice and maby a bookmark possebility for backupbookmarks and bookmarks for not to backup.

The user data is stored in the profile folder. You can copy the data manually by copying the contents of the profile folder, for details see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_backup or https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Backing+up+your+information

There are some add-ons and utilities that can make this process easier. The first one is the FEBE add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad.../febe/) which can be used to copy a profile. Another option is the free MozBackup utility (http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/)
