Firefox updated to its newest version 12.0. Now my Adobe Flash plugin freezes and hangs every website when it is enabled even though it is the newest version.
Today Firefox updated to its newest version 12.0. Immediately after update, I couldn't load most websites. The web browser would just freeze. I have determined that the culprit is the Adobe Flash Plugin, however; even with the newest version of the plugin, I am still having problems. Any suggestions?
Chosen solution
If anyone else is having this problem I have found a few options that might help you.
I solved my problem by loading Waterfox, which is the 64-bit version of Firefox. I am using a Windows 64-bit operating system so this solution worked out perfectly. If you want to download it, it can be downloaded from here: http://waterfoxproject.org/
It has also been suggested that I try creating a new Firefox profile. Since Waterfox is working for me, I have not tried this yet; however, I was told that doing this solves many mysterious Firefox issues with Flash. The directions for doing this can be found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
I hope everyone else can fix their Flash Player issues and I recommend using the Adobe Forums as well. The people there are very helpful.
Good Luck!

can you try this suggestion https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing%20the%20Flash%20plugin#w_pl... and/or Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
Modified
I have already tried the suggestions to manage the plugin. I have the newest version and disabling the hardware acceleration did not change anything. It still freezes ever website I go to regardless of whether the website uses flash or not.
I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the flash player program as well and no luck.

This problem started happening for me after I downloaded the latest flash update. It appears to be a flash issue since it happened prior to the latest update to Firefox, not sure if this helps anyone or not.
This flash update for me is for 64 bit and Firefox is running as a 32 bit app. this flash update also hangs Google chrome. and chrome was not updated only flash.
Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.265 is the version I am having issue with.
Searching for a solution.
