When I click on a mailto link, Thunderbird automatically opens a new email window. The problem is that the recipient's email it enters has three slashes "///" before the email address...can't send to that email. Can't just delete them because they reappear upon clicking out of the field. How do I stop these slashes?

Using Thunderbird 31.7.0 on Fedora 22.

Thanks.
