will passwords and settings be lost in chrome if i change my firefox password?

I have forgotten my Firefox main security password. I am warned that if i reset this, all of my current log in details passwords etc will be lost. Does this also apply to the log in details stored in Chrome?

No, Chrome won't be affected if you change the Master Password in Firefox.
