I have just now added a few language packs to Firefox, but they aren't functioning when I click on "select language" in Facebook f.ex.

I have added 2 language packs to Firefox. Norwegian and Spanish. The site says they're installed but, they are not functioning. I've rebooted my MacBook twice now, thinking that a reboot was what I needed, but to no avail. When I go back to the language selection site and click on the languages in question, I am asked if I want to remove the selected languages. I live in Norway, speak Norwegian, US English and Spain's Spanish but, the only I get when I try to change is US English. Thanks in advance for your help Regards, Kjell Torgersen

Hello Kjell,

I may be completely wrong, but could it be that you installed these language packs to use with the Spellchecker  ?

In that case you don't want language packs, but dictionaries :
