My previous post seems to have disappeared, so will try again. I am 85 years old and have been using Thunderbird fo over 15 years with out any problems. Afew days ago I tried to send an e-mail and didn't have any "Send" button. In trying fix, I some how deleted my contacts sidebar. I sill have my addresses book. I have tried everything to retrieve them but no luck. I tried removing Thunderbird and reinstall, but it comes back the same. I would appreciate an guidance in trying to resolve my problem. Thank You

Thunderbird has it's own forum this is for Firefox browser help forum. And also Thunderbird connects to you "real" email provider there's where your contacts are stored at. If you delete the contacts list they are gone unless you save them back to your contacts list. But you should login to the "online" email server where Thunderbird gets copies the emails form to find your contacts.

Your previous thread is in the Thunderbird section at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1478149 with a reply.

To find your previous threads and replies look at top right and hover over your name and click on either View Profile or My Questions. To make it easy here is your user profile here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/user/waldogwh/

I would move this thread to Thunderbird section but due to a recent change where when some Agents process a thread it can no longer be moved as it can only be moved before then. The Mods are trying to get this reverted or changed.
