The "Print Tab" for my cruise does not show... but if i hover over it I can tell there's a tab there? I want dark pages but all fonts to be whatever color I choose but do not understand how to adjust this. Help

Some sites have their own dark mode and Firefox switches to dark based on your MacOS settings. For other sites, you can use an add-on like Dark Reader. Is that what you're using, or some other method?

I am not using Dark Reader... should I?

What method are you using to theme pages? Unfortunately, after the "Web Appearance" option, which really sets Firefox to optimize sites' own features, the color tools on the Settings/Preferences page are very crude. Dark Reader should work better than those.

I want dark pages AND photo background which I have just lost due to my changing setups.

It would be most helpful to know which add-on and Backgrpund and dark modes to enable.

Hi, is it this theme: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/dark_red_theme/

Usually a toolbar theme doesn't affect web pages, only internal pages, so that is why I asked about other settings on the Settings/Preferences page, such as overriding website colors. What I suggest for the Settings/Preferences page is:

  • Change the Web Appearance setting to Dark
  • In the Colors... dialog, set the override drop-down to Never

Then because many sites will still not have a dark theme, try using the Dark Reader add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/darkreader/

After reviewing your suggestion, I closed all and reopened to see my setup ended up exactly as you suggested. But at one time I had the Color setting to Always and/or Never and/or other. The Never works along with Dark Red theme.

The Norwegian site has given my issues since day one and through my reachouts, they appear to have made some changes. I do know they did not accept my 1st photo (had my glasses on) as their site refused to allow me to replace it. After my complaints, they cleared that field and I was able to upload a new photo without my glasses which appeared to be the issue (it was stated near the field not to wear prescription glasses - go figure). It was their Link to Print the boarding passes that gave me this issue but I finally saw my mouse change as I passed over that link field so was able to print my boarding passes. Their site leaves much to be corrected...and a rep also agreed when I called for help 5 days ago. All good on my end now.

Thanks again.
