Sync is not a backup service. Is there an old computer or another device? The purpose of Sync is to exchange browser data (bookmarks, history, open tabs, passwords, add-ons, and the like) between “clients” in a manner that respects a user’s security and privacy. https://moz-services-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/sync/overview.html#introduction
