International language versions of Firefox can be downloaded from https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html.
Is your Firefox User Interface (the labels on the toolbars) in French, or is it that your Homepage loading in French?
If the later, see this:

Thanks for your help.
Sorry but you are trying to help someone very incompatible with computers so thanks. (an age penalty?!!) When I clic on the Firefox Icon on my desktop it responds in French and I don't see where to proceed from there, otherwise all is in English tho' I'm not sure how I arrive there but do somehow! Thanks again, Berrie
Your user agent shows an en-GB (British) Firefox version:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12
So I assume that you have a problem with the Google Firefox home page that appears in French.
You can try to clear the Google cookies to see if that helps.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
The article http://www.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=873 in the above posted link explains that Google redirects automatically to a page in a language that Google believes is your local language.
You can use http://ww.google.com/ncr or http://www.google.co.uk/firefox to get the Google Firefox site in the English language.
