I have succed to sync my macbook and firefox home but i didn't with my imac (although i have upgraded to Firefox 5). My sync key work. What is wrong ?

Hi,

I began to use Firefox Sync on my iMac on Firefox 3.6 (but it never worked). After I used Firefox 4 beta and Firefox 4 with the same problem : "unknow error". Few weeks ago I have succed to use Firefox Sync on my Macbook and on my iPhone with Firefox Home. I have uninstall Firefox on my Imac and install Firefox 5 on it, but synchonization still doesn't work : when I past my sync key spinner appers, disappers and then... nothing

Does anyone can help me ?

Hi!

Does the iMac appear to be synced? In other words, if you go to the Tools menu, do you see the "Sync now" option? If this is the case, I will ask you to press it and force a manual sync. Sometimes syncing takes some times, specially the initial one.

If this is not the case and you are unable to activate your sync account on it, my advice would be to back up all your bookmarks and information locally and reset your account. Here is how you can do it.

If none of these solutions work, you should take a look at how to create a bug and open one at Bugzilla.
