I am unable tp perform actions on email or some websites because the pointer will not change to a hand on any commands at the top of a page - everything lower down works fine

more options

In Hotmail, for example, I can open any message in the inbox except the top one but then I am unable to reply or take other actions because the pointer symbol doesn't change to a hand and clicking doesn't have any effect.

If I try to open the top message by right clicking the "Open" command is greyed out.

If I open the type of web page that has a number of menu options across the top of the page, I am unable to open anything for the same reason - anything further down a page is fine. The type of website with menus down the sides can be used for all menu items except the top one!

HELP!!

Regards

Brian

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause this issue. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

Thanks edmeister but I never got the chance to try your suggestions as the problem seemed to resolve itself before I got chance unless I managed to do something accidentally!
