Every time I try to print anything to the Microsoft XPS printer, the 'save as' dialogue freezes and I have to open Task Manager to End Task.

Someone posted a reply in a forum saying that Firefox does not support printing to Microsoft XPS Printer! If so, this is a HUGE problem for me, so I might have to stop using Firefox.

I just printed this page to the XPS printer on Win7 Pro (64-bit). Didn't look so hot, no styles, but no freeze, either. I never use XPS, so I probably have the default settings.

I don't think I'm helping yet, but please know that it is possible to print to XPS at least in some cases.

Why do you use the XPS printer? Do you prefer XPS over PDF?

Yes, I have discovered that I am able to print to .xps providing I do NOT open print preview from the file menu first! For instance, I just successfully print this page to xps! But if I open the print preview first, to enable me to choose which pages to print, it freezes every time the Save as dialogue box opens. I then have to end the Save as application in Task Manager.

The only reason I use XPS is because it usually creates considerably smaller file sizes than PDF.
