I would like to ask you for supplementing system requirements for Firefox on Linux machines presented on pages like this, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/133.0/system-requirements/ All the requirements shown for Firefox 133 on this page are satisfied in my Linux Fedora 20 with versions of the required libraries updated but Firefox cannot start GUI. As this concerns all Firefox versions newer than Firefox 95 that has the same requirements concerning Linux system and is functional in my system I have filed a bug report to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1938497 Almost immediately I have seen the comment below my report, "Fedora 20 saw its end of life 114 months ago. Nobody cares about supporting Fedora 20 anymore." with status RESOLVED WONTFIX that means, "The problem described is a bug which will never be fixed." This means that some other requirements exist whence maybe a minimal number of Linux distribution should be noted as required for new Firefox versions to work. For "older" Linux users this would save them a lot of time.

What do I do to get ideas "approved" at Mozilla Connect so they get out of the "Awaiting Moderation" queue?

Ref: The article thread started at: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1481513]

Issue: The issue raised in this article thread was answered with the suggestion to re-ask over at Mozilla Connect, which I did.

When I looked at my account in greater detail, it appears that every single article submitted there is still "awaiting moderation" - most of which have been awaiting moderation for years.

I wanted to send a private message to the moderators over there, but there appears to be no username "moderator" or "moderators" and I don't know the name of any specific individuals to message.

I hesitate to post this question there as yet another "idea" because it will likely sit in the moderation queue unanswered.

Question: What can I do to ask the administrators/moderators for that set of forums for assistance in getting articles out of the moderation queue?

Thanks again for all your help!

Hi, Somehow I managed to turn off automatic updates or something, because I am have been way out of date. I just checked and it my laptop or mozilla support is telling me I just updated to 113 two weeks ago. Well, that seemed to be the latest update I could get. Now I have just seen that there is mozilla up to something like 123 or 132 or some such. I got the 113 from google store, and I am still getting messages that my laptop is out of date and I need to update it. Can someone please tell me where to get the latest updates and how to go about installing them safely, or how I can turn on automatic updates...I am using Linux mint and that is probably also out of date, but seems to work.

I use FF on desktop. Recently, I've run into a problem. My desktop browser will not load any pages... except Youtube. Youtube loads just fine, I can open a video or browse channels or community pages normally. I have fully reset my browser, reinstalled it, and disabled extensions. Other browsers on my PC will work normally. I have very few extensions: Sponsorblock for Youtube, uBlock Origin, and Facebook Container, that's it. I am not using a proxy or VPN. Troubleshoot mode did not fix the issue. I'm not the most tech savvy, so I apologize if I missed anything here.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Like probably a Lot of you I don't support the unethical So-called "Forced-obsolescence" and am not planning to "upgrade" Microsoft every 18 months or so for the next 90 years on each on Every single family Computer and give in to their Scare tactics for financial, environmental and Ethical reasons.

I am currently running Firefox "Extended Support," or ESR, I think it's called. Was wondering, If I ever **DO** decide to upgrade our bloatware Spyware operating system(s), basically if they break enough Apps like Apple Likes to do to force an upgrade, how difficult or easy would it be to Migrate from ESR to the latest regular version of Mozilla/Firefox...with all my Settings, etc. still in place?
