Long tap on the sound file or player and see if this option comes up: Download music, photos and videos

  • .wav file it asked me to open with an app
  • aif asked me to open with an app
  • mp3 file as well

I used ES File Downloader from the Play store, however there might also be an add on in the Firefox addon website.
