hi, you should leave that option unchecked anyway. in numerous different instances in the past this has been shown to actually decrease protections for users: http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/antivirus-software-1.3668746 https://blog.vpn.ac/disable-https-scanning.html https://www.pcworld.com/article/3154608/security/https-scanning-in-kaspersky-antivirus-exposed-users-to-mitm-attacks.html https://www.scmagazineuk.com/updated-kaspersky-leaves-users-open-to-freak-attack/article/537024/ ...

hi, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:
- what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
- please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum like shown in the screenshot.
thank you!
ok here is, when error code is pressed:

thanks - so it's your kaspersky software intercepting secure connections. please see if How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites helps.
hi there, yes by lowering the kaspersky level of protection to non scanning of encrypted content the browser starts working fine but the old version of fire fox was working brilliant for years with kaspersky until this new updated browser i have installed.
therefore: to use fire fox now i will always have to lower protection first on the anti virus which is quite anoying. i have tried to install certificates on the kaspersky aswell but have failed to make firefox work properly.
any other suggestions please?
