how do i access mahjong challenge when it is blocked with a grey triangle
i was happpy playing mahjong challenge now firefox has blolcked it with a grey triangle and i cannot play it...
Chosen solution
Did this happen suddenly in the middle of play, or was it working in Firefox 39 and stopped working in Firefox 40? The reason I ask that is...
There is an issue with some Flash games not loading in Firefox 40. To see whether the game you are playing is affected by that issue (asynchronous loading), you could try this settings change:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste ipc and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the dom.ipc.plugins.asyncInit preference to switch its value from true to false
I don't know whether that starts taking effect immediately, or whether you need to exit Firefox and start it up again.
Please let us know whether this makes any difference with that game.

Your question got posted in a Thunderbird forum and unfortunately there is no way to move it over to Firefox. Please post a new question at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox
I was able to move your question to the Firefox forum but we need more information from you:
Does the image in this article show the grey triangle you are seeing?
Mixed content blocking in Firefox
Please give us a link to the website where you see this problem, so that others can test it.
there is a grey triangle with an exclamation point in the line with the address and i can no long access the game.
This - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-does-content-isnt-secure-affect-my-safety - didn't help you?
Click on that grey triangle, then click on More Information ... and see what it says.
A screenshot might be helpful.
See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
Firefox doesn't block mixed passive content like images by default, so the presence of the exclamation mark shouldn't affect the page content.
Do you see a Lego block icon at the left end of the location/address bar indicating that a plugin is blocked?
If there is mixed passive content (e.g. images) then Firefox shows an exclamation mark instead of "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar.

Hello,
I've got the same problem : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1198280
We really need this to be fixed on next release. Because i can't ask to hundreds unknown visitors to do this trick in about:config :\
Thank you.
Starting August 19th, a hotfix is available on the Add-ons site. Firefox is designed to check for any updates to this hotfix extension and install them automatically. So for many users, the problem will be solved without any manual intervention.
However, a use in another thread pointed out that if a user get the hotfix, downgrades to Firefox 39, then upgrades to Firefox 40, the hotfix does not get reapplied. Or if the hotfix is installed on Firefox 39 because the user didn't update yet, it has no effect. So some users may still have this problem.
Do you want to post a message for Firefox users to install the hotfix if they are having problems? Here's a link:
Hi APPR
Did you check if there are any notification icons at the left end of the location/address bar?
Thank you all. It'll be fixed in 40.0.3 version according people in charge of the bug report.
