I would like to back up my "myword" phrases. Recently just set them up again - and lost them immediately in a weekend auto-update. Gets a little frustrating. All other elements of my profile save, but not this one.

Add-ons are permitted to store information on your system, provided that they have setup the add-on's permissions properly. This data should not be reset by Firefox unless the add-on is uninstalled from your system.

Unfortunately, Mozilla does not provide support for add-ons, since they are developed by developers which are not affiliated with Mozilla or Firefox. Please contact the add-on developer and advise them of the issue so that they can develop a patch.

Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.

FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backups of files that you choose.
