How do you select a block of consecutive dates in TB, & mark the block with a colour and a label?

Marking a single event at a specified date/time is the single most important function in the Calendar. IMO, being able to block-select and label a longer (multi-day) event is the 2nd most important function - but I can't see how to do it. It's annoying that the TB Help menu doesn't give a link to an off-line manual that the user can look up.

You select the start date & time for the event and the end date & time for the event.
