Hey, everyone! I am trying to move from an older version of Thunderbird on my Snow Leopard MacBook (Tbird 47) to a Mac Pro running High Sierra (Tbird 78). I can easily export my message filters from my old TB, but there doesn't seem to be a button in TB 77 to import these message filters.

What am I missing? how do I import these filters. I have many e-mail accounts and dozens upon dozens of message filters spread out over all these accounts. I don't want to have to recreate all those filters.

Filters are stored in msgFilterRules.dat files in each account subfolder of Mail (POP accounts) and ImapMail (IMAP accounts) in the profile folder, e.g. Mail/pop.gmail.com or ImapMail/imap.mail.yahoo.com. The dat files can be copied from one computer to another and between accounts. Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Show in Finder, to open the profile folder. Close TB before making any changes.
