With Firefox 4 these things seem not to work:

1. When I change the way the bookmarks are displayed in the bookmarks toolbar from "symbol + text" to "text", then the little arrow on the very right (the one that allows me to open bookmarks that did not fit in the bookmarks toolbar) disappears.

2. I want the items in the bookmarks toolbar to be "text", and I want the Forward / Back button to be buttons with symbols; just as before. With Firefox 4 it seems as if both navigation buttons and bookmarks in the toolbar are either text or symbol.

The second problem also applies to additional toolbars that you have installed. Example: I want all the default Firefox buttons to be symbols only, but my toolbar from the "Web Developer" plugin should remain symbols & text.

However, if I select "symbols" in the toolbars options, the Web Developer buttons become symbols, too. And even though the plugin has its own option for this, it doesn't seem to be able to override the global settings.
