Hi,

With my plugins, the only settings seem to be either "always activate" or "never activate".

How can I set them to "ask me" every time ? As I can in FireFox.

Please advise.

try this.

Tools > Options > Advanced > General tab click on 'config editor' button it will tell you to be careful :)

In top search typ: plugins look for this line plugins.click_to_play;

Double click on that line to toggle the Value setting from 'False' to 'True'

Close window - top right X click on OK to save changes to Options.

Tools > Add-ons click on 'Plugins'

you should now see three options.

  1. Ask to Activate
  2. Always Activate
  3. Never Activate

Christ, I feel like such an idiot ! Don't know how I missed that config editor button. I've been changing FireFox configs for ages. Especially geo-enabled.

Thanks very much Toad.

All the best Steve2017.
