PC and laptop both running Windows 7 home premium, can I install Thunderbird on both and use my original e,ail address ?

I use my laptop for travel and want to be able to use my email address on both my PC and laptop. Can I sync both installations so I see all my folders relating to email on both machines ?

Setup your account as IMAP on both, PC and Laptop.
