we are having around 500 computers , We are facing issue with firefox , after it is downloading the update and getting upgraded to 70.0.1 it is crashing and not letting end user to open browser. We faced the same issue with 64 bit version of firefox , but by removing the old firefox and installing the new version I was able to solve this issue. Is there anyone who is facing the same issue ?

thanks, then it's likely some external software that is hooking its dlls into the browser process causing this crash.

perhaps it's the same root cause as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1579758 - could you test if firefox 71 beta is working ok?

Maybe check the Windows Event log to see if there is more detail.

I just tried to use portable firefox and the same error happened for me ?! is there any dll files or something which I need to delete to remove the Firefox completely ?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
