Hello, I am using Thunderbird 102.0.3 (64-bit) on Windows 10 with QNote version 0.11.2.

When I add the column for QNote in the message list, this column is not kept when I close and re-open Thunderbird. I tried to apply the column layout to all the folders, children folders, etc. but whatever I do the column for QNote disappears when I quit Thunderbird. I tried to disable/re-enable, uninstall/reinstall the extension but the problem persists.

If I add other columns (e.g. "From") the column is kept between Thunderbird restarts.

I have contacted the extension author, who is not able to replicate the issue on its machine, so I thought there is a problem with my Thunderbird installation and that is why I am now asking here.

When I look at the Error Console (ctrl+shift+j) I do not see anything specific.

Is there any tests I can do to understand why Thunderbird does not keep that column when it exits?

Do you have any other addon extension ?

QNote may work ok on it's own, but maybe it goes awol if there is a conflct with another addon extension. To test this you would need to disable all other addons except for QNote and restart Thunderbird. Then test whether the column remains in situ.

If ok then enable one addon, restart Thunderbird to test QNote. Repeat the above until it goes wrong. Then you would have identified which addon clashes with QNote.

Please report back on results.
