Why are comments made on sites in reverse order showing first comment at the top and last comment has to be searched by loading more comments?
IE on cnn or fox news site shows a story and you can comment on that story. When you click comments, it shows the last comment made at the top with older comments as you scroll down. Why am I seeing the Oldest comments made at the top of the page in Firefox? If I make a comment, I have to try to find it because it is on the bottom instead of like IE showing the most recent comment at the top?

Strange. Seems to work OK for me. See screenshot.
Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
I had recently reformated because of this and still the same problem so no add ons involved. There is my image.
Here's the same page as I see it. It seems to be in a different format than your screenshot: you have image links on the right of the comments section. I can't get those to appear at all.
I can only assume there's a setting on the page somewhere which enables you to display the comments in reverse order. Maybe you can contact their help desk?
It was on cnn also like I had said but, I figured it out and fixed it though.
What was the cause of the problem?
It's a combination of both the site and Firefox that was the problem. I went to CNN, and noticed on their comments sections they have a choice to view oldest, or newest comments first. I chose newest first and signed out. Then went to foxnews site and the comments were newest first once again.
Good detective work ;)
It was also your second reply that made me think of it.
"setting on the page somewhere"
Thanks for the effort though P.S. I'm thinking it directly correlates to my email address that I use to log into both sites to make comments.
