why has firefox changed my search engine without asking me and how do I undo the mess its made????

up on the update to firefox 6 the program has made unauthorised changes to my search settings and for some reson now every search i make is done though yahoo and seems to have synced its self to my email account with yahoo this is an unaccseptable thing for mozilla to do if this is not rectified emedatly i will remove all mozilla softwear from my pc's and advise all my friends to do so too

McAfee updates recently have been surreptitiously installing a Yahoo Toolbar into Firefox. Check the Control Panel > Add & Remove and Addons > Extensions and get rid of it. It may masquerade as a "search" extension or program.
