Google not remembering search terms
Google home page used to remember the search terms i had used before. This no longer works. Is it a problem with FF? I have the option set to remember

Well, are you sure that you save your browsing history, that you don't delete the cookies (e.g. with CCleaner), that you have the right settings on your browser?
Maybe these things can help you.

i am sure. i do not use c cleaner etc. it happened suddenly, think it is a google thing see http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=77885995#post77885995
Google uses autocomplete=off on many of its search input fields.
You normally only see Search Suggestions from Google or you can log in to Google and enable the search history.
If you use the about:home page then Firefox should remember search terms.
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" > "Remember search and form history"

@cor-el i said i had all the boxes ticked and i said it was the searchterms i used before i.e not the google suggest. thi nk it is a gogle thing now
Google is using autocomplete=off for the search bar on its page for quite some time, so I'm not sure how Firefox could remember search terms.
Even the webhp?complete=0 page has it now (this doesn't used to be the case in the past).
You aren't referring to the search bar on the about:home page (just to be sure) that doesn't have autocomplete=off ?
It is NOT google autocomplete. It is MY previous searches on the google webpage not the toolbar. Before when you would type a letter on the google page you would see previous searches you made. Type the letter A and drop down would show YOUR previous beginning with A such as ant
That is gone i want it back
http://www.google.ie/webhp?complete=0 does not have autocomplete on my computers. I DO NOT WANT google autocomplete i want my previous searches
