Hi

We'll be using Firefox 17.0.5 ESR in our corporate environment.

We have 4 certificates (1 x .cer and 3 x .crt) and I'd like to somehow 'integrate' them into the Firefox deployment install.

I believe you can use NSS certutil.exe to add certificates to Firefox's cert store within the user profile (cert8.db). However, we'd prefer not to do this on a per user basis.

Any advice on how we can install these certificates into the Firefox installer would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, having read the content of both links I'm still none the wiser!

To clarify, the certificates are in .crt/.cer format (not .der), and the target OS is Windows 7.

This is uncharted territory for me, but any advice provided is much appreciated.

Hi

Thank you - I'll take a look at that.

Hi, that looks a good tool, but after trying it, it's either not compatible with FF 17.0.5 ESR, or cannot import .cer and .crt certificates.

Thanks for your help anyway.
