I use History a lot and I'm used to being able to click on it from an icon on my toolbar in IE. I saw that I could put a History button on my menu bar in Firefox, so I did that. But when I click on it, the history is in alpha order with no option to change it. The only thing I can do is click on View History Sidebar, then I can see the list in any order I choose. So, is there any setting to get the button to show me a different order (like Last Site Visited)?

Thanks.

Sorry the History Button {Clock Icon) doesn't have sort options.

You have discovered already that the Sidebar does.{Use [View] options).

If you try the History Library you get even more options you may add more columns to the display and sort by ascending or descending on any column.

Note also that the location bar itself makes suggestions partly on how recent a visit is. You can even restrict it to only History suggestions just commence with ^ and a space and start typing something likely to be unique to the target

As an example after this is closed type ^ q into the address bar, or before it is closed % q
