Are you using BetterPrivacy or another extension that helps with LSOs? It's possible that due to the change from a pop-up Options dialog to a page-style Options dialog that the extension will need to be updated.
There is a preference to return to the old style Options dialog:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste pref and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.preferences.inContent preference to switch it from true to false
Note: I don't know whether that will be in Firefox forever or is a transitional feature. As you've probably noticed, the long-term trend is to remove things that pop up.
Is the expected feature to remove LSOs there? If not, the extension which creates it might be disabled, or need an update, or be gone. (If the Refresh feature ran, and you haven't reinstalled it, then it would be gone.)
You can check your installed extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then if an extension is disabled, it will be at the bottom of the list on the right side.
Above the list is a button with a "gear" icon you can use to Check for Updates. That might help.

BetterPrivacy Add On is NOT able to be used with current version Mozilla FireFox 43.0 and therefore is NOT available as a solution.
It is irritating that valid working Add-On's are more and more being rendered "incompatible" with FireFox version "blah-blah-blah." Improvement? or Obsolescence?
You can use this to inspect and clear the Flash local storage and settings.
- Windows Control Panel > Flash Player > Storage: Local Storage Settings
- Remove a specific domain: Local Storage Settings by site
- Remove all domains: Delete All and Delete Data

Hi Mr.Y, there have been a lot of changes affecting Add-ons, but I believe the developer of BetterPrivacy is working on an update so hopefully you'll be able to use it again in the near future.
Thanks jscher2000 .....
UPDATE: Click&Clean works well with 43.0+ and seems to do a similar job as BetterPrivacy!
