Coloured text over a certain size has it's colour inverted.
I've noticed this on several websites, most obviously on forums where it is easy to see the effects of changes in font size and colour. The size required varies from site to site. I've checked Fonts and Colours, and "allow sites to choose their own fonts/colours" is ticked in both instances. The effect started with no obvious cause a week or two ago. I have checked other browsers and the issue seems to be limited to firefox.

Did you make changes to the default colors?
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
High contrast is not enabled and as I said above pages are choosing their own colours. Safe Mode does not alleviate the issue and I use the default theme already.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
See:
Made a new profile and checked all the earlier steps on it (high contrast, safe mode etc), still no luck. I'm starting to think this could be something to do with my graphics drivers?

That's solved it! Didn't even realise my drivers were so out of date. Thanks a lot!
