Why are you trying to force me to use Firefox version 9?
Version 9 is buggy as per my understanding, and you have just made a new browser Firefox Araura that most likely will be as bad. I want to keep all of the controls in 3.6.19. I like the way it works for me. The newer browser version remove functionality that was included in my present 3.6.19. I want to keep the Tool-bars, and other items that make-up my present browser, and your new browsers will remove functionality that makes the browser easier for me to use.

At this moment Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 9 have the same crashrates i.e. 1.5 crashes per 100 active daily users. So there is no reason to say that Version 9 is buggy or worse than 3.6. If you are a regular user you should not use the Aurora version because that is for testers only. My personal experience is that it may take a few days to get used to the new versions but once you get used to it you really do not want to go back because the newer versions have a lot of nice features and are a lot faster. But I hate toolbars anyway so this is easy for me to say of course.

Please be more specific. What toolbars and functionality are you missing when updating to version 9? Thanks
Hi! Just a quick reply. I can't tell you exactly what's not there other than the FULL Toolbars, and there was something else that I found missing in v5.x, and up. I want the FULL Toolbars, and the FULL menus, and the something else that was the main reason for reverting to 3.6 in the first place. I haven't gone to the newer versions as I know they already have the changed minimal Toolbars , and else that I like as they are at present. I don't have enough trouble with 3.6 that I want to take a chance in loosing the Functionality I still have in 3.6. When Mozilla makes a complete and FULLY FUNCTIONAL, AND RELATIVELY TROUBLE FREE NW VERSION THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH ALL THE ADDONS, AND OTHER OPTIONS i STILL HAVE IN 3.6. THEN I WILL MAKE THE UPGRADE, AND NOT TILL I CAN VERIFY THIS. MOZILLA HAS MADE SEVERAL UPGRADE VERSIONS IN THE LAST YEAR, AND IT'S TOO MANY. iT REMINDS ME OF WHAT MICROSOFT IS DOING. INSTEAD OF MAKING THE NEW WINDOWS 7 TO BE MOSTLY TO COMPLETELY BUG FREE THEY HAVE MADE A NEW VERSION 8 AFTER SAYING THAT 7 WAS THE BEST OPERATING SYSTEM THEY CREATED. I'M THEY HAVE ALREADY MADE REFERENCE TO ANOTHER VERSION THAT IS HIGHER THAN 9, AND THE NEW 8 DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO DO A REPAIR INSTALL , ALLOWING YOU TO NOT HAVE TO RE-INSTALL YOUR OTHER SOFTWARE AFTER DOING THE REPAIR. i SHOULD BE ABLE TO REPAIR WINDOWS WITHOUT HAVING TO RE-INSTALL MY OTHER SOFTWARE THAT WORKED FINE TILL ONE DAY WHEN EITHER MICROSOFT GOOFED, OR SOMEBODY ELSE DID IT SO YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THE REPAIR TO FIX WHATEVER HAPPENED TO WINDOWS. I'M NOT PLANNING TO GO TO 8 TILL THEY FIX THAT WHICH IN MY OPINION IS ANOTHER SCREW-UP, OR FAILURE OF MICROSOFT TO DO THE BEST IT IS CAPABLE OF DOING. I WISH I HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY A MAC. THEIR OS IS ALMOST PERFECT. MY FRIENDS WHO HAVE THEM SWEAR BY THEM AS BEING TROUBLE FREE, AND RELATIVELY LOW TO NEXT TO NONE FOR NEEDING THE CONSTANT FIXES REQUIRED WITH THE WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND THOUGHT, BUT I FOR NOW WILL STICK WITH MY FIREFOX 3.6.19. THAT IS ALMOST TROUBLE FREE. STILL SOME BUGS NOTED, BUT ALMOST TROUBLE FREE FOR ME, AND PRESENTLY MEETS MY FULL HANDICAPPED USER ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS.
