Custom icons on a page/domain do not work, or only work temporarily.
Hello !
I just started using the Lnk.Bio service for my personal social media links etc.
Everything is fine on my Android Phone but the browser version of the page seems to have trouble loading the icons, which are replaces by rectangles with two rows of numbers/letters only.
This only seems to happen on the Firefox Browser and I obviously tried switching all add-ons and plug-ins to see any difference but it didn't, and the strange part is that it works fine in Incognito Mode, but is still not displaying right in Safe Mode/Troubleshooting Mode.
I contacted admins of Lnk.Bio and we tried a few solutions, but none worked except when we cleared cache on the Web Developer Tools (Ctrl + SHift + i > 'Cache Storage' > Delete 'V68') but it only worked for one page (not the whole domain) and the single page returned back to the same state (icons not loading).
Is it possible that there is some sort of bug with the Firefox Browser ?
Thanks in advance !

You see little boxes with the hex code of the character or text labels if you do not have a font installed that covers this Unicode range or block downloadable fonts or if you do not allow pages to choose their own fonts.
Small icons can be supplied by an iconic font that is downloaded from the server via @font-face CSS rules. If you have content blocking extensions then make sure that you do not block remote fonts. Also make sure you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
- Settings -> General: Fonts & Colors -> Advanced
[X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.
You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.
