For years FF has worked beautifully with Constant Contact. Now sevear function in CC will not work in the FF browser - they work in all other browsers. Help
Until one week ago, I had no difficulty or problems working Constant Contact while open in my Firefox browser. Now I have several with some functions in CC not working.
Inserting images, setting hyper links, changing background color - These are three necessary functions that I use in Constant Contact emails that no longer function when opening CC in Firefox browser - latest update was today 10/29/2013.
The function work in the Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. I have contacted Support at Constant Contact and the issue is not with their program.

Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, so this checkes if Addons or bad prefs are the problem, if safe mode solves it, you may need to uninstall some addons or reset firefox (Keeps bookmarks etc.)
SEE: Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems and Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
Note the reset feature is NOT a full reset, so backing up info is optional (only prefs, Addons, and some custom mods will be lost)

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us.
If its provided by a addon then comcast needs to update it, if its done on the web, the-edmeister's trick should work, report back if otherwise.
I followed the instructions but no result. I had done this last week when the problem first show but I did it again following each step.
The problems persist.
This has nothing to do with comcast. Constant Contact is a web based email marketing service we use and have used for more than 15 years. I have talked to their support department first and they investigated to see if any changes in their program could be the cause. They found none.
Can you try Firefox safe mode, maybe its another addon whos update has messed up something.
Was it working in Firefox 24? I noticed you have the beta release of Firefox 25. The final release is available today, but it's probably quite similar to the last beta release so may not affect this issue.

No it was not working in 24. I first noticed the problem Oct 15. I updated to whatever release was available today (this morning just prior to my first contact) I am set to have updates happen automatically. I generally do not pay attention except to notice that they happen.
If working in Safe Mode is the solution, I'll probable proceed with Chrome. I don't want to start is Safe mode each time I open Constant Contact. I am in and out of it almost every day.

I'll try to see if the Safe Mode helps but I'll not revert to using Safe Mode as a solution. That is tedious and my work load is way too much to slow down to do that. It took me more than a week just to make time to submit today's question.

I finally got back to doing the Safe Mode restart and the problem with Constant Contact does not appear in safe mode.
My assumption from correspondence so far is my next step will be to "reset" Firefox. or to disable add-on one at a time until I find the culprit?
Ok. Will try.
Hi eaglegrafix, try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions (i.e., anything you don't think you'll need for 24 hours) and see whether that solves it. You can do that on the Add-ons page:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category (in the left column, click Extensions)
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that help narrow it down?
Actually I disabled one Add-on and the Constant Contact problems disappeared. I contacted that Add-on support and received a solutions so I can keep the Add-on.
Thank you for your successful efforts to help me.
Yes, thank you. I had done this and found the malefactor that was disturbing my Fire Fox. She is happy again.
