I'm unclear as to where to direct feedback about the HTML5 video player for Firefox on Android. Does Firefox provide the HTML5 video player, or does the content provider, i.e. YouTube, provide it on the fly?

I might as well put my follow-up request here in the case that is the Mozilla team that is coding the FF HTML5 video player. A speed control for the HTML5 video player for Android would be a great addition. I use FF on the Kindle Fire HD6 and playback speed control is not there so if already exists on other Android builds I wouldn't know about that.

The proper channel for requesting new feature / updating new feature is bugzilla. You may submit your proposal here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi

Ok, I knew that, but was trying to make sure that the HTML5 player was provided by the browser and not the content provider. Are you saying that the HTML5 video player is supplied by the FF browser? If so, then I will head on over to bugzilla and I'll mark this solved.

That doesn't answer my question. Some HTML5 players have playback speed control, some don't, some plug-ins can replace the HTML5 player with another one. With regards to the HTML5 video player that Firefox on Android relies upon, is the code comprising the player developed by Mozilla and provided by the browser or is the player sent from the content provider? Is that clearer?
