I have passwords saved for my frequently visited sites (like amazon, youtube, pinterest, etsy, etc), but the new Firefox Quantum keeps logging me out. The passwords are saved, so it is easy enough to log back in, but it is a pain. In Options>Privacy & Security> I have it to Allow cookies from these sites. And to keep until they expire. I have a check mark next to Remember Logins and Passwords for Sites. I have Firefox will - use custom settings for history. and Yes to: Remember my browsing and download history Remember Search and Form History Accept Cookies from Websites Clear History When Firefox Closes - BUT I have unchecked Cookies and Active Logins.

So I don't know what to do. For example, if I go to Pinterest, and right-click on a blank corner of the page and choose View Page Info, and then Permissions, I can see that cookies are allowed. But I am logged out. I will then log in, but it will only leave me logged in for a while. Please help

Please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. (Note: Disk Cleanup should be run weekly and be pinned, Also if this is the 1st time to run Cleanup System Files will be 100's of gigs) Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

I'm sorry to say that this did not solve my problem. We did your directions exactly, and I am still having the same problem. My husband poured over my settings and can't figure it out. I constantly have to re-login in to amazon, etsy, youtube, etc. The usernames and passwords are saved, cookie are on, but every time I close Firefox I am logged out of my favorite websites. I'll even tick the little box that says "keep me logged in".

This DID NOT happen with the previous versions of Firefox. Only Firefox Quantum, which I just got.

@littlemountainbird, I have no issue with keeping my login on Amazon, Youtub. Did you check the box that says remember me or remember my login? I done that and have no time out sessions as your describing. Only time I get logged out is if I restarted the computer or power down and turn back power the next day and restore sessions then I am logged out. I have FF57.0.2 and have no time out log issues.
