what happened to the back button drop down menu?
there was previously a 'recently viewed' drop down menu attached to the back/forward icons in the toolbar. I loved using that feature, but the new update has taken it away. This was very helpful for going back to a specific site without having to hit the 'back' button 15 times. please add it back in!

To save space the downward pointing triangle was removed and you now right-click or click-and-hold the back button to get the history list.
There is an add-on if you prefer the downward-pointing triangle. I haven't tried it myself.

to SAVE SPACE??? . not to offend anyone but that is STUPID. There is PLENTY of real estate and unused (wasted blank space) to fit the triangle in the menu / navigation bar or header.
As for a add-on or extension why should i have to go to that extreme for a common used and desired (expected) feature.
Extension this -extension that TOO MANY EXTENSIONS in my opinion! Don't know what most of them are suppose to do let alone KNOW IF THEY ARE SAFE or trojan malware crap someone created.
Make BACK BUTTON DROPDOWN a choice to (remove it/replace it) in the "view" toolbar section in the (CUSTOMIZE) tabs menu.
DON'T GO BACKWARDS WITH FIREFOX!
@addison2012, you can use the Submit Feedback feature to give comments to the developers.
Use one of these methods to open the tab history list:
- Right click on the Back or Forward button
- Hold down the left mouse button on the enabled Back or Forward button until the list opens
Thanks, Where is this "submit feedback" button or area? By the looks of my reading a lot of people are NOT very impressed with the direction Firefox is heading. I also don't understand a new version of firefox darn near every time I turn on a computer since Christmas. the developers have gone from 3.?? to version 6 I believe since Easter. THAT"S NUTS ! Especially if they are turning it into a "Pile of unwanted refuge"
I've have always carried a torch for and promoted earlier versions of Firefox to folks having problems with/ or looking for an alternative to Internet Explorer, but if it is becoming clunky and loosing its functionality, maybe it is time to look for another browser to replace Redmond's offerings.
@addison2012, "Submit Feedback" is under Help. Depending on your OS, that could be under the orange Firefox button or the classic Help menu.
I was using click-and-hold to get the history, but it stopped working: very irritating. I didn't know about right-click until I read your post: Thanks!
