Unable to run Firefox without using my administrator password.
When I log in under another user name on my computer it now asks for the password & goes to the Firefox page of my administrator user. I can tell from the bookmarks. I can't get to the Firefox page under my other user name. I tried to sync the bookmarks with an add-on & the only bookmarks that show up are from the admin. acct. How can I get back to the Firefox browser under my other user name. Please Help! Thank You!!

Seems to me, you have installed Firefox while in the admin role (and not for "all users"). This implies then, any other user will be asked to provide the password with admin rights.
Try the following: find the Firefox Folder (should be something like c:/program files/mozilla...) and copy it to a different place on your computer - lets say to d:/firefox. Check then, how starting Firefox from there behaves and let us know.

It wouldn't work for me :( Thank you though! It just started doing that after an update. It never asked for the password before. Do you know if there is anyway I can change the settings, or would that even help? Thanks so much for your help!
Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
- Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
- "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
I went to both areas of properties and changed (unchecked) "Run as Administrator" and after I saved the change, it remained unchecked on my administrator account (for all users) yet it was still checked on my other user account. I tried to change it there also (both places) hit apply and it still remains checked on that account! I even closed Firefox & restarted my computer to see if the change would take effect and it was unchanged. I am at a loss! Thank you for taking the time to help! I appreciate it!
Try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to see if that corrects the problem.
Be sure to remove the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) to remove any remaining files before reinstalling.
