After upgrading to Firefox 33.0, the streets in Googlemaps Earth view are a separate layer from the underlying satellite images. Why?
I recently moved to Firefox 33.0. All is well, except that the Earth view of google maps is now layered. I can see and drag as I wish in the Map view, but when I click to the Earth view, and try to drag to move the map, only the street layer moves. The background satellite image stays in place. I've never seen that happen before, and it doesn't happen in IE, so I know it's something to do with the new Firefox. What do I need to do to correct this?

Please update to version 33.0.3, this fixed some graphics card issues that you may still be experiencing. Update Firefox to the latest release
I did as suggested and the system says I have the latest version - 33.0.2. I did not see an option for 33.0.3. And the version I have still has that same problem. Any other thoughts?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver.
