how do i stop teh yahoo toolbar from opening every time is start firefox?

i have set google as my home page, but it never opens when i start firefox. also, yahoo toolbar opens every time i start firefox. i delete it, it shows back up every time i start.

Regarding your home page, what do you get instead of Google? This can provide a clue about what is changing your setting.

Toolbars typically are generated by an extension, which is a type of add-on you can disable or remove (usually) here:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
