I am using Firefox 22.0 and windows 7. my anti-virus program keeps reporting a “toolbar” threat; when I scan the directory c:\program files(x86)\mozilla firefox it identifies the threat traces or source as HKEY_USERS\...\SOFTWARE\DATAMNGR_TOOLBAR -1

Although I clean or quarantine the file, the “threat” keeps reappearing. i don't see this program or file anywhere that i might delete it. i don't recall seeing this "threat" coming up prior to version 22.0.

What is this? Why does Mozilla contain this? Do I need it and, if not, how do I get rid of it?

Thank you.

thank you for your help. i tried what seemed to be the simplest approach first, going to control panel and deleting "windows searchqu toolbar." the "threat" has not reappeared before or after restarting firefox and i will also check again after rebooting my pc. btw, i did not have any of the other symptoms reported by others, just the repeated threat report by ad-aware. thanks again.
