Icloud Bookmark add-on causes FF 26 to crash every time. It worked before upgrading to 26.

I've used the iCloud Bookmarks Add-on (1.2.12) for a while now with FF and have had no problem until I upgraded to FF 26. After upgrading, FF would just crash. I ended up starting FF in Safe Mode and disabling different add-ons until I got to the iCloud Bookmark add-on. As long as it is disabled, FF works fine, but as soon as I try to enable, FF immediately crashes and continues to do so every time I restart FF. I am using Windows 8.1. I've removed/reinstalled both FF and the iCloud Bookmard add-on, but nothing seems to help.

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.

The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there. you can check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.

The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

Thanks for the reply. I deleted both the user.js and the prefs.js files and it still crashes when I enable the Icloud Bookmarks Add-on. Any other ideas? This worked fine until I upgraded to FF 26.
