First of all, I love your product. Have used it for many years.On a club computer trying to put it on my computer and it is endless checking passwords. No matter what I try when installing my yahoo in my or my gmail account

It has verified it with both email providers. The provider show the thunderbird is being used as a client. I have tried this with the email password and without no matter what I do I cannot get past this problem. I have windows ten

I want to enter a whole lot of addresses into a particular address book but I find when I try to enter them there seems nowhere to click to say 'do it'. Have I missed something?

And how do I enter multiple addresses?

I now have roughly 100 email icons with no subject at the top of my screen. I have to scroll left through all of them before I get to the last 12 emails with subjects and then the inbox icon appears. When I click on a new email from the inbox, it opens and the email icon tab is all the way to the right. Now I have to scroll all the way back to the left to get to the inbox again!!. The email icon tabs cannot be deleted because the button turns light grey. Is there a solution or do I have to save the profile and uninstall Thunderbird?

Recently, I've been experiencing an issue with YouTube on Firefox. I have restarted all my network equipment and removed any extensions from Firefox, but the problem continues. Any help would be appreciated. Please see attached photo.

I'm finding threads that include the correct emails for the subject, but also additional emails that do NOT relate to the original subject. How do I pull the other "subjects" from being in the wrong thread and create their own thread. See the highlighted emails in the attached image. Each color represents a separate thread that should stand on its own.

I used to be able to hold the back button down so I could see a short history for the current tab, and I'm not sure if it was an update or a bug, but does anyone know if it's possible to enable it in about:config? It's really useful when you're trying to go back but a redirect is preventing you.

I love Firefox, but I can't find an answer to why the keyboard input lags 5-10 seconds. This is always noticeable in NYT Games like Wordle, but not Bluesky, for instance. I use Chrome now for NYT but eventually I'll go back to stay if I can't fix this, which is a shame as it's the best browser around. Thank you for your help.

trying to import my emails and folders from outlook into tbird via windows cvs file Outlook file from an old pc and need my emails. its not giving me an option to import emails just address book. if I use excel file it doesnt even see it. what do I need to do? and it keeps crashing on me

I'm using Thunderbird for desktop and android. Everything is nicely organized on my desktop. Subfolders are contained inside parent folders as they should be. However, on Android all of the subfolders are outside of the parent folder. Is there a way to fix this on Android so all of my subfolders are organized back inside the main folder?

Allows the app to have the same access to mailboxes as the signed-in user via POP protocol.

This is a permission requested to access your data in xx Send emails from mailboxes using SMTP AUTH. Maintain access to data you have given it access to View users' basic profile"

This was functioning with the previous version of Thunderbird, but now my IT team requires additional information about what the app is trying to do with our Office 365 environment. The approval process is crucial because some apps may introduce security risks or seek extensive access to our Office 365 resources.

Could you please provide more detailed information on the permissions requested and the specific changes in this version compared to previous versions? This will help in getting the necessary approval from our IT team.

get this message every time I try to send an email:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: [VO-1] Message blocked due to spam content in the message.. Please check the message and try again.

I attempted all troubleshooting through the website to no avail.

Mail Provider - Penn Tele Data - Mozilla Firebird ISP - Blueridge Firewall - Windows Defender Anti-Virus - none OS- Windows 10 Thunderbird - version 128.4.4esr

Two strange things happened with my Thunderbird emails today, all POP3. In the folder with emails from my sister (top folder with a few hundred emails, subfolders going back to 2004 with thousands of emails), all the emails after Nov. 7 had disappeared. That could be a only a couple of dozen emails. They also disappeared from my iPhone. (Now play the Twilight Zone music).

Then there is a folder called Randy (me) with various subfolders going back as long. Many fewer emails were there. It was mostly for receiving bcc's of emails sent from my iPhone, and most of those had been moved immediately to my Sent folders. They are still there. But there still should have been hundreds of emails. Every single one, plus all the subfolders, have disappeared.

A fix I've seen here might be to rebuild the entire message database. That would only work if the messages were still there but simply not synced any more. Last time I did it I had all the messages, but the search function had become erratic. It took overnight. Given that I still have most of my emails and the search function seems to be working, I'm afraid that I could do more harm than good by rebuilding the database.

I have my entire TB profile backed up. I could use that, but then I'd lose everything in/out since 10 days ago, when I left on an extended trip to France. That would include lots of daily reporting to friends and family about the trip.

There doesn't seem to be any way to restore just one folder, which would be ideal.

Boa tarde desde que instalei o app Thunderbird no meu celular ele não aparece notificação quando chega email.. Todos os outros app chegam normal, já até conferi e está permitido o app a enviar notificação mas não envia.
