When importing logins and notes and URL from Chrome to Firefox, why the latter doesn't bring notes and read double URLs?

All of my notes are gone and if similar URLs are doubled.

Sharing one screenshot, since I cannot share another due to privacy (until a Mozilla dev team asks for it directly without sharing it on public platform).

After a web search via the top toolbar, when the keyboard is minimized the area behind the keyboard is not rendered. At this point, if I open the menu and bookmark the page, the "Saved in Bookmarks" message pops up at the bottom of the page, and then the area behind the keyboard is rendered. After that, the keyboard and the area behind it works fine, when the keyboard shows and hides. If I open a new tab and do a web search there, the same thing happens ie no render behind keyboard. If I go back to the previous tab, it also re-acquires the problem.

If I touch and hold (for the copy-paste context menu) when the problem occurs, the un-rendered area renders instantly.

If, when the keyboard is visible, I press and hold for the context menu and choose "select all" and then minimize the keyboard, the area is not rendered. If at that point I tap anywhere to clear the selection, the selection clears and the keyboard reappears. If I then minimize the keyboard, the area behind it is rendered correctly.

That doesn't happen with other browsers. It happens with default and other keyboards. I've been using Firefox since I got the phone (Samsung S9+) and this just started happening a week ago. I am on android 10.

This is probably device, UI and Android version specific. Just throwing it there in case someone gets an idea. Thanks

I'm running Firefox 122.0.1 on a Windows 10 desktop PC, with a profile which includes a userChrome.css file which makes several layout and cosmetic changes.

I also have a laptop (also Windows 10) which has an old Firefox 97.0.1 installation, and I'd like to make the same changes on this machine which I'm used to on the main computer. I copied my desktop profile to the laptop, to the same directory as its present profile, but when I rebooted Firefox the transferred profile wasn't recognised.

While doing the transfer I received error messages about some of the folders: Destination path too long. This despite the fact that the registry flag to accept extended paths is set to 1. I had to skip several folders in order to complete the transfer.

Could this be the reason why the new profile isn't being picked up? Or is it because the two Firefoxes are of different versions?

I'd be grateful for any thoughts. Many thanks.

The "restore previous session" function stopped working today. My privacy and security sessions are set to REMEMBER HISTORY. I have restarted my Mac. I have the latest version of Firefox. Why does it no longer work?

The Picture in Picture feature does not work with Hulu. The picture pops out but it remains stuck into the Hulu tab. It does not float around. So it does not operate like intended. The black box is the pop out. when viewing it does have the picture. You just have to view it on the tab Hulu is opened on. Any ideas? m

I signed in to be sure to save my bookmarks and i lost them instead. When i hit sync, i wanted to backup my current bookmarks. Instead, I lost them. It reverted to the old bookmarks i had a few weeks ago. I lost all of my bookmarks from the last few weeks. HELP!

I am just a non-computer-literate old woman. I have tried to follow advice from the community forum. All that SMTP stuff is Greek to me. Since the last update to Thunderbird, I can't reach my daughter or my neighbour. One uses Hotmail and the other Yahoo. sometimes after about 4 days my neighbour will tell me he finally got a message.

Please change this. The only way I can reach them is to leave Thunderbird for webmail. It's a nuisance. Can someone please advise.

Paypal hangs when transferred from vendor site to complete purchase. Relaunching Firefox in troubleshooting mode resolves issue. Also works with Safari. What's wrong, what needs to be changed?

• • • • • Furthermore under File --- Compact Folders & Empty Trash are blanked out.

This happens in all my email accounts, I have pop downloading all files from the server & imap on other accounts.

I don't know where to add shortcuts all at once instead of adding each one individually, I tried to search for a "shortcut folder" within the bookmarks manager and i found nothing, is there anything I can do to move opera browser's speed dial bookmarks into firefox shortcut
