Since updating to the above OS on my Macbook Pro I have not been able to use any screen share functions (e.g. Adobe, MS PowerPoint etc) while using Firefox - all of which worked fine before. I've tried all kinds of suggestions including from this forum but nothing has worked. The site I use most is Konfidens. The only option that comes up when clicking on Share Screen is Use Operating System Settings (see attached screenshot). When you click on it the only option is "share entire screen" which isn't what I need or want. The Konfidens tech support team is looking into this but given the screen share option works fine on Chrome, the problem is evidently with Firefox. I want to stick to Firefox for security reasons but if I cannot resolve this, I will have no option but to move across to another browser. Many thanks in anticipation!

Hi there, I had an issue just now with logging onto Audible.com.au. It brings up Amazon, so I logged in, but then it keeps bringing up the attached message and saying that Firefox requests my PIN number. I've never set one up and I've been using Mozilla and Firefox for about 15+ years now and never had this problem. The error message directs me where to go, however, when I log into the Mozilla account it says to go to Settings then Accounts then Sign-in Options.

The problem is, there is now 'accounts' under settings, let alone 'signin options'. I don't know what's going on or why, so really need some help.

I was in Firefox tonight and everything was fine. At some point I went to save a bookmark and noticed that all my bookmarks had disappeared. I also lost my bookmark toolbar and my customized Firefox homepage. I have no idea what happened, but I tried doing some troubleshooting.

I tried to restore bookmarks from January 6th and a message came up saying 'unable to process back up file'. So I tried using a back up copy of my bookmarks from late December 2024. Nothing happened, no import happened. I have 4,400+ bookmarks that I cannot access.

I also tried the option to 'recover user data missing after Firefox update using the about:profiles. But that also didn't give me back the missing bookmarks/bookmark toolbar, plus that option also removed my extensions.

Whatever happened, those items were destroyed, removed or deleted. I need help to get those bookmarks back, because all my financial, medical links, etc. are stored in bookmarks.

I am in desperate need of help to get those 4,400+ bookmarks back, plus my customized homepage.

Please provide any help you can to resolve this serious issue. Thanks!

I have OLD imacs. The one I'm on now says 2017 and according to some homework, the latest version of Firefox I can run on IOS 10.13.6 is version 115.

WHERE do I FIND that?

I went to mozillas page and there was only one place to update firefox. I went ahead and tried, then got a pop up saying to restart.... did. Then got some helper thing suppose to download, put in my computers password, and NOTHING seems to happen. Nothing at all. Downloads like this usually involve a spinning wheel, or bar showing progress, SOMETHING. I didn't get anything.

Restarted firefox, and every time I go to about firefox to see if it updated, the same pop up shows up. (Will attach a screenshot of it.)

If I look under applications/firefox, it has NOT updated at all.

I'm guessing it's updating to the latest greatest version which MY computer cannot run. SO where do I find VERSION 115?

I just installed a Firefox browser on a new computer. I logged into the new browser and hit sync, but it didn't bring over new information. I manually synced both browsers, restarted both computers, and logged out and logged back into both instances. My laptop still has all the passwords, bookmarks, etc. But the new desktop doesn't have any of it. I cannot uninstall and reinstall because they're work devices and technically I'm not allowed to have Firefox and had to get my tech friends to help me get a copy.

I just used another profile, then switched back to the main one, after which I selected a desktop shortcut, which opened my secondary profile, instead of opening up in the main one.

How can I avoid this?

EDIT: Along with my original inquiry, i just noticed a couple things in the interface changed. I discovered that I had been upgraded from v133 to v134 without a confirmation notification, and also contrary to my settings, or so I thought.

This is my normal setting (first Image), but then I checked my settings, which were changed without my knowledge.

I never allow automatic updates.

I'm trying to log into this page: https://accounts.firefox.com

The sign up or sign in button doesn't work. The first time I click it, it immediately refreshes. I click again and nothing. On the 3rd click, it just spins for 30 seconds then goes back to being blue. This continues every time I attempt to click further.

I can login on this page just fine using Firefox on my android phone. I can also login using the Edge browser. Matter of fact, I had to use Edge so I could post this issue.

This is a completely fresh install of Firefox, on a completely fresh install of Windows.
