Has anyone found a solution for the following error message that occurs upon opening Firefox "You've launched an older version of Firefox" ? I have tried changing my profile, setting a default profile, refreshing Firefox, and uninstalling and then re-installing Firefox. Even after installing the latest version of Firefox I still get the message that says I am launching an older version. Nothing has worked so far.

How many profile do you have if you check this in the hidden "AppData\Roaming" location ?

You can check the profiles.ini file to see what Firefox version and installation location last used a profile.

You get the "Using an older version of Firefox can corrupt bookmarks and browsing history ..." message when you try to start Firefox with a profile that has been last used by a newer version. You can possibly bypass this by starting Firefox with the -allow-downgrade command line switch.

This did not work. -allow-downgrade did not help. It yields the message that Firefox is not a recognized program. I currently have 6 profiles in the AppData\Roaming location. Every time I open firefox I have to create a new profile in order to get it to open. The .ini file updates each time with the new profile. Other suggestions would be appreciated.
